A WOMAN was taken to hospital and three others, including a child were injured following a crash involving two-vehicles.
Police were called to the A352 in Winfrith Newburgh yesterday.
Police were called at 2pm to reports of a crash.
It took place by the turning for Lulworth near the Red Lion Hotel.
Recovery and the ambulance service as well as police were called to the scene.
A spokesman for the police said that a woman was taken to Dorset County Hospital but the injuries were not life-threatening.
An ambulance service spokesman said that it looks like one of the vehicles rolled and the other car hit it.
He added that there were four patients, one of which was a child and one patient was taken to Dorset County Hospital.
The service sent three ambulance vehicles and two first responders.
The cars involved are a grey Ford Focus, registered to a woman from Portland and an MG with a German number plate.
The road re-opened at around 5pm.
