Thousands of people are expected to attend Weymouth's free firework extravaganza on Saturday, November 5. As well as a spectacular fireworks display over Weymouth Bay, there will be a Guy Fawkes competition, fun fair and beach bonfire. Fairground on the Weymouth Pavilion forecourt opens at 3 pm with judging for the Guy Fawkes competition at 6.45pm in the Pavilion foyer. The beach bonfire is lit at 7.40pm, followed by the fireworks at 8pm. 

Wareham Wednesday's Monster Firework Display goes off with a bang on Friday, November 4. From 6pm at Swanage and Wareham Rugby Club, there will be a bonfire, fireworks, fancy dress competition, stalls, a BBQ and live music. Advance tickets available at £5 for adults with free entry for children under 10.

Bridport's firework bonanaza will be lighting up the skies on Saturday, November 5. The event, organised by Bridport Round Table, takes place at Bridport Leisure Centre. Tickets cost £4 and there's free entry for children under 12. The display starts at 8pm. 

Watch fireworks erupt over Lyme Bay at 6.30pm on November 5. Join crowds of people at Front Beach as they warm themselves by the bonfire and watch the exciting pyrotechnic display.

Poole Quay will host an evening of free entertainment on Bonfire Night, culminating in a firework show over the harbour. It will include live music, a junior disco, family entertainment, street entertainers, jugglers and fire performers. Other attractions include the Bonkers Dance Academy, the Passion Dance Academy, and the Poole Field Gun Team. The event is scheduled for a 5pm start on Saturday, November 5, with the main firework finale set to take place over Poole Harbour at 8pm.

Bere Regis School's fireworks extravaganza takes place on November 5. There will be a BBQ, bar, children’s disco and live music from The Jimmy Hillbillies. Gates will open at 5pm, with the fireworks starting from 7.30pm. Adults go for £5 and all children under 16 go for free.  

The Beaminster Big Bang takes place at Beaminster St Mary’s Academy on November 4. Gates open at 6pm with fireworks at 7pm. There will be a BBQ and refreshments. Adults go for £3 while children tickets are £1.

Spetisbury Bonfire and Fireworks will light up the skies on November 5, offering hotdogs and mulled wine. The bonfire will be lit at 6.30pm, followed by fireworks at 7pm. Adult tickets are £5 and children go for £3, with profits going to the church restoration fund.

Sherborne Firework Extravaganza will feature the cast of Octagon Theatre’s Peter Pan, refreshments, food and live music, topped off with an amazing firework display on November 5. Gates will be open from 5pm with fireworks at 7.30pm. Tickets for adults for for £8, children and senior citizens for £6 and under 5s go free.

Dorchester Rugby Club hosts a firework display on Saturday, November 5. Gates open at 6pm with fireworks at 8pm. There will also be BBQ, crepes, dink doughnuts, coffee van and outside bar, plus a performance by Howling at the Moon. Entry costs £10 for a family ticket, £4 for adults and £2 for children. 

There will be fun for all the family at a fireworks display and disco in Wool
Pop down to the British Legion on Friday, November 4m between 7 and 12pm. All are welcome and food will be available. 

Over on Portland, Billy Winters will be serving up an outdoor BBQ from 6pm, followed by a free firework display from 8pm.

Piddle Valley VE First School will be hosting a firework display on Saturday, November 5 between 6pm and 8pm.
