A TRACTOR was stolen in the early hours of Friday morning after thieves snapped padlocks to gain access to a property in Leigh, north of Cerne Abbas.
At around 1am on Friday, October 21, a mini Kubota Ryoji tractor was taken after thieves smashed a car window in order to release the hand brake and roll it out of the way as it was blocking the mini tractor.
Dorset Police reported a 4 x 4 vehicle was seen on a public road near the time towing a trailer which was being followed by a quad bike style vehicle.
Officers are urging the public to check the security of their properties and consider fitting a burglar alarm if you do not already have one.
Anyone with information is being asked to contact the police on 101, quoting incident number 21:0014.
