BALTI Sports manager Marco Nott is hoping his charges can get back to winning ways after a tough run in the Dorset Premier League has seen them slip from top spot.
A 3-0 loss to Dorchester Sports was compounded by a 4-0 defeat to Holt United last weekend and now they take on Mere Town, who sit 13th in the standings.
Nott told Echosport: “Hopefully we can get back to winning ways after a tough run.
“We want to go on a little run and get back in it. All is not lost and we’re still up there.”
A few stalwarts of the Balti team were missing on Saturday and Nott insists they will help strengthen the side ahead of Saturday’s clash at Weymouth College (2pm).
He added: “Oscar Preece will be back and we’ve had to nurse Danny Andrews, who has had a knock.
“We didn’t want to bring him on last week and we’ve had to look after him.
“Hopefully he will be okay to start tomorrow. Jason (Pearce) and Shane (Lock) will be back as well.”
Elsewhere in the Dorset Premier League, off the back of two straight wins, Dorchester Sports will hope to carry on their good form against Hamworthy Recreation, who sit just a point above the county town side.
Bridport Reserves will look to arrest their slide with a home clash against Sturminster Newton, in the Dorset Senior League, Chickerell take on Witchampton United.
The Senior League table toppers, Dorchester Sports Reserves, are without a game this weekend.
