DORCHESTER Town player-manager Mark Jermyn has called his side’s clash with Cinderford Town tonight (7.45pm) a must-win to get the Magpies away from the relegation zone.

Their opponents sit bottom of the league before their trip to the Avenue and are without a point away from home all season.

However, the county town side fell victim to the Foresters earlier in the season, losing 4-0 in a dismal performance at the Causeway.

Jermyn, who didn’t travel with his side when the teams met in August, understands the importance of picking up all three points tonight.

He told Echosport: “It’s a must-win game, we have to win.

“There’s no drawing, we have to get three points and the players know that.

“I wasn’t there (at Cinderford) at the start of the season and I was told then they were struggling, and they still are.

“But, they have had a change in management and they went and beat Chippenham 3-2. This league is crazy.”

He added: “I fully expect to get three points.”

Jermyn is back after serving his suspension on Saturday.

He is likely to replace Jason Brookes at full-back, but not many other changes are expected.
