CAN'T anyone have any privacy these days?!
Seems not.
Amorous owls got the emergency services in a flap.
The Maritime Coastguard Agency (MCA) was called to people shouting for help on Sunday.
But after a thorough investigation, coastguards came to realise the noise was actually...a pair of loved-up owls.
Speaking of the incident, which happened over the border in Devon, an MCA spokesman said: "HarryPotter auditions are not over for some....Last Sunday Berry Head Coastguard were sent to the Sharkham area after the UK Coastguard received reports of people shouting for help.
"After a thorough search of St Mary's Bay beach and further investigation all they could hear were two 'loved-up' owls calling to each other.
"Satisfied that the most likely culprits of the shouts were the amorous owls and no-one was in trouble the teams were stood down.
"And the last words go to Berry Head Coastguard - "Cue all the owl puns ... frankly we couldn't give two hoots"."
