EMERGENCY services were called to a crash on Radipole Lane this morning.
Police were called shortly before 9am today to reports of a two vehicle crash.
The fire service and ambulance service were also in attendance.
The crash took place outside the fire station.
A police spokesman said that there were reports that one person was trapped in a vehicle but this does not seem to have been the case.
The road was closed at the junction for East Wyld Road, but has now re-opened and it is believed that everyone is out of the vehicles.
The cars involved were a black Nissan Micra and a red Toyota Yaris, both registered to women from Weymouth.
The road re-opened shortly before 9.45am, with police confirming that it was a "damage only" crash.
An ambulance spokesman said that the service was called shortly before 9am but nobody was injured.
One eyewitness reported a large quantity of glass in the road near the fire station.
