A NATIONAL survey has revealed you can't put a price on enjoying the beauty of Dorset.

An iconic landmark on the Jurassic coast has been voted one of the top 10 best-loved free attractions in the country.

Durdle Door has been voted number eight on a national poll to reveal the most enjoyed free attractions.

It's hoped the survey of 1000 people by National Express will help inspire people to have fun for free in places like Dorset ahead of Easter and the summer holidays.

The survey is part of the coach operator’s ‘Get out of London’ campaign to help people living in cities to reach all the amazing attractions they can visit outside the city across the country.

National Express managing director Chris Hardy said: “It can be expensive keeping kids entertained over half-term so we’ve pulled together a list showing people how they can make the most of the holidays for free.

"There’s no end of incredible sights to soak up in Dorset for free but there is little more enjoyable than a trip to the beach, so it’s not a surprise to see this stunning county landmark ranking so highly."

National Express runs coaches all over the UK, including the major airports, allowing people to enjoy Britain and beyond affordably. Ticket prices start at £5.
