A35 blocked following two car crash
THE A35 near Dorchester is currently blocked following a two car crash.
Police received a call at 5.26pm and say the collision is near to Bats Lane.
It is believed to be a minor injury incident but ambulance has been requested as a precaution.
A spokesman for Dorset Police said: "It involved a blue Volkswagen registered to a man from Weymouth and a black Vauxhall registered to a man from Sussex.
"Injuries are minor and described as 'walking wounded'.
"The road is currently blocked."
Dorset Fire and Rescue Service was also in attendance. Crews from Dorchester Fire Station went to the scene and made the area safe. A spokesman said no one was trapped in any of the vehicles.
