ONE person was taken to hospital following a crash between a car and a van.
Emergency services were called to the crash at Milborne Port on the A30 at 9.07am this morning. The exact location was Toomer Hill, just across the border into Somerset.
A Dorset Police spokesman said that one person was taken to Yeovil Hospital with minor injuries.
He added: “Road closures were put in place and traffic was diverted via Stalbridge.”
Officers also received a report of a tanker stuck half way up a hill on a nearby road, known locally as Giant Steps, leading to Landshire Lane, which was causing further delays in the area.
