A manhunt is under way in Dorset.

Dorset Police are appealing for help to find a man wanted after failing to answer police bail for alleged drug offences.

Daniel Sasa, 22, of Edmonton in London, was arrested in Bournemouth on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs, on Wednesday, August 31 2016.

Officers said he was released on police bail pending further enquiries, but failed to answer bail in November 2016.

Enquiries by officers in Dorset and London to locate Daniel continue, but his whereabouts are still unknown.

Daniel, also known as Huseyin Ozturk, is described as five feet eight inches tall and of medium build.

Officers said he has a noticeable tattoo of Arabic writing on his left hand.

Detective Constable Ben Griffin, of Bournemouth CID, said: “We believe that Daniel may have returned to the London area but enquiries to locate him have not been successful.

“I am releasing a photo of Daniel in the hope that someone may know of his whereabouts and I would urge anyone who knows where he is, or has any information that could help us locate him, to contact Dorset Police.

“While we have no information to suggest that Daniel presents a direct risk to the public, anyone who sees him should not approach him but immediately contact police on 999.

“I’d like to assure members of the public that officers are making every effort to find Daniel as soon as possible.”

Anyone who sees Daniel Sasa should dial 999 immediately. Anyone else with other information should call 101 quoting occurrence number 55160131393 or Crimestoppers in confidence on 0800 555 111.
