RECYCLE your old ink cartridges and help older people in the county town.
AgeUK in Dorchester is collecting old ink cartridges while will be recycled and turned into cash to help the charity.
The group is appealing for people to join them in their recycling efforts.
Lucy Christian, Head of resources and home support for the charity said: “So far we have raised more than £1,000 by collecting and recycling ink cartridges. This year we hope to raise even more money, and with the public’s help, we should achieve this and help even older people.
“We take any make of ink cartridge, but not toner cartridges or cassettes as we are unable to recycle these.
“So please bring them along, we would be very grateful to receive them and we are also doing our little bit for the environment too.”
