COME along to the Aspects of History talk on the aviation pioneer Charles Stewart Rolls by Stephen Robson on May 3 at 11am at Bournemouth Central Library at the Triangle.
The talk includes his early life, his varied achievements, his partnership with Henry Royce and the plans he had in place which could have made him a war hero if he had not been killed at the International Aviation Meeting at Southbourne which formed part of Bournemouth's Centenary celebrations in 1910.
There is also an exhibition about his life, including an artefact rescued from the crash site, plus plans for a memorial at Southbourne.
