POLICE were called to reports of a fight in a pub.
Officers went to the Wheatsheaf pub, in Market Street Westhoughton, at around 11.45pm on Sunday.
There were reports of ten people involved in the fight and one person injured.
A police spokesman said: “We received a report of a fight that happened between 11.30pm and 11.44pm on Sunday, April 30 at a pub on Market Street, Westhoughton and conducted inquiries. No arrests were made.”
The ambulance service was also called to deal with the incident but was not required to treat anyone.
A spokesman said said that there appeared to be ‘quite a big fight going on’ but police arrived on the scene first and told the service it was not needed.
The Bolton News contacted the Wheatsheaf pub for a comment but did not receive a reply.
