PUPILS, parents, teachers and friends of a village school are being invited to its most important fundraising event of the calendar.
The Cerne Abbas First School will be hosting its annual Mayfair this weekend.
The fair will see stalls, games for all ages, a raffle and tombola, food drink and live music, all from 2pm.
There will also be Shetland pony and cart rides, Maypole, archery and a fairy grotto in the woods.
People are also encouraged to bring a picnic blanket and grab a homemade sausage roll or cake and watch the musicians.
And don't miss the infamous boat race.
The fair will take place on Saturday, May 20 on the school playing field in the heart of Cerne Abbas village.
If the weather it wet the fair will be moved to Cerne Abbas Village Hall, which is a short walk from the school.
The school is also celebrating the upcoming opening of Little Giants, its new pre-school, that will be opening in September at the village hall.
