A SIXTH person arrested in connection with the death of businessman Guy Hedger has been released under investigation.

Detectives announced on Thursday morning that a 39-year-old Bournemouth man had been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit aggravated burglary.

Police executed a warrant at a house MacLean Road, West Howe. Forensic investigators were also seen at the address.

Mr Hedger, who was 61, died of gunshot wounds inflicted at his home in Castlewood near St Ives in the early hours of Sunday, April 30.

Kevin Downton, who is 40 and from Winterborne Stickland near Blandford, 41-year-old Jason Baccus and 44-year-old Scott Keeping, both of Verney Close in Bournemouth, have all been charged with murder.

The defendants are next due to appear before a judge at Winchester Crown Court in July.

A 40-year-old Bournemouth woman and a 45-year-old Poole man arrested in relation to the incident have been released under investigation.
