BURGLARS attempted to break into several outbuildings in a night-time raid.
Dorset Police are appealing for information following the attempted burglary in Weymouth.
The incident happened overnight between Tuesday, May 16 and Wednesday, May 17 at 9am when the attempted break-in was reported.
Officers said they received a report of an attempted break-in to a number of outbuildings at a property on Chickerell Road. But nothing was stolen.
Police Constable Carl Wood, of Weymouth police, said: “I would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the attempted burglary or has any information that may help me with my investigation.
“I am also appealing to anyone who saw someone acting suspiciously in the Chickerell Road area at the time of the incident to please get in touch.
“I would ask that the public remains vigilant and reports anything suspicious to the police.”
