A Weymouth woman has spoken of her sadness following the tragic death of Georgina Callander – one of the victims of the Manchester terror attack – after seeing her just three weeks ago.

Jennie Glover, from Weymouth, works at an events company and organised a fan convention last month for fans of television series, Once Upon a Time.

Georgina, 18, was one of the many youngsters who attended the convention.

She was one of the 22 people killed in Monday night's bombing at Manchester Arena after Ariana Grande's concert.

She was also a superfan of ABC's fantasy fairy tale series, Once Upon a Time.

She attended a convention in Blackpool at the end of April to meet the likes of Emilie de Ravin (Belle), Rebecca Mader (Zelena), and Lana Parrilla (Regina).

Jennie, who works at Rogue Events, described Georgina as a "simply lovely girl".

She said: "I first met Gina last year at a convention in Blackpool.
"She was a massive fan of the television show Once Upon a Time. She came to a fan convention last month - Storybrooke Three - and met the stars of the show and got signed autographs and pictures.

"She was a huge fan of Emilie de Ravin who is in the show and was so excited to meet her. She was her idol.

"She was just an adorable, young, sweet, beautiful, lovely girl and we all feel a huge loss.

"When I first heard about the attack and saw her picture I recognised her straight away. The actors all remembered her too and they have all paid tribute to her."

Georgina, from Chorley, Lancashire, was in her second year of studying health and social care at Runshaw College in Leyland, Lancashire and had previously been a pupil at Bishop Rawstorne Church of England Academy.

She was one of the first victims to be named following the terror attack.
More than £10,000 has already been raised in memory of Georgina and to help her family towards funeral costs.

Jennie added that a fundraising event will be held in Blackpool on Saturday, June 3 at a Starfury convention - one that Georgina would have been attending.

Posting on twitter, Georgina's idol Emilie de Ravin wrote 'RIP @emiliesatwell remember meeting her last month. Beautiful, sweet girl. She gave me the most lovely letter...at a loss 4 words'.
