Emergency services were called to a crash on the A35.
A call was made just after 8:35 am this morning reporting a collision between two cars at the Stinsford Roundabout near Dorchester.
It involved a silver Renault Clio registered to a woman from Weymouth and a Ford KA registered to a woman from Dorchester.
Police, fire and ambulance crews rushed to the scene.
No one was trapped, but one casualty was handed over to the ambulance service as a precaution after they reported feeling hip pain.
They were taken to Dorset County Hospital for treatment.
The road was blocked for over an hour whilst crews dealt with the incident.
A spokesman for Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue said: "We received a call at 8:36 to reports of a two vehicle collision on the first roundabout of the Dorchester bypass heading west .
"We assisted crews by making the scene safe and disconnecting the battery."
A spokesman for Dorset Police said: "The road was blocked but not closed.
"A local authority was contacted as there was fluid on the road near Kingston Maurward.
"We left the scene at 10am."
