An old school building has been used as a training ground for firefighters.
Last night (25) two appliances from Dorchester, along with one appliance from Maiden Newton, took part in an exercise at the old site of Damers First School in Dorchester.
The exercise simulated a fire somewhere in the school with four adults and one child trapped inside.
The idea behind the exercise was to test the crew's breathing apparatus, search and rescue techniques as well as their casualty case skills.
A spokesman for Dorchester Fire Station said: "We are pleased to inform you that all casualties were rescued and have made a full recovery.
"A huge thank you to Dorset County Hospital for the use of a fantastic training venue."
