POLICE are appealing for the public’s help to find a missing Dorchester man.

Mark Powell, 53, went missing from an address address in West End in Spetisbury sometime between 10pm on Sunday, June 18 and 9am on Monday, June 19.

He did not take his wallet or mobile phone with him. It is believed he may have left on a ladies red Raleigh bicycle.

Mark is described as white, six feet tall, of stocky build, with a tanned complexion and clean shaven.

He has short dark-coloured hair and wears glasses. He was wearing dark-coloured jeans and a cowboy-style hat.

Chief Inspector John Foster, of Dorset Police, said: “I understand that Mark has been upset lately and we are becoming increasingly concerned for him. We have carried out searches of the Spetisbury and Dorchester areas but Mark has not been found.

“I would urge anyone who has seen Mark or a man matching the description given to please contact Dorset Police urgently.

“Finally, if Mark sees this appeal I would ask him to please make contact with Dorset Police or your family. We are worried about you and just want to know you are safe.”
