TRAFFIC has returned to normal after a herd of cows caused delays on the A35.
Loose cows were reported on eastbound on the bypass just past the Puddletown turning at around 9am.
Dorset Police attended the scene and put a rolling road block in place.
The cows have now been cleared and the heavy traffic is easing.
The A35 is also experiencing delays the other side of the county as a burst sewage pipe on Lyndhurst road is backing up traffic between the Dorset and Hampshire border.
