A MAN was injured and two properties were damaged in property fire in Swanage.
Emergency services were called to a house in James Day Mead at around 1.45pm yesterday afternoon.
A single storey semi-detached property caught on fire with the blaze spreading to the neighbouring property. Both roofs were damaged in the fire.
Two crews from Swanage and a third from Wareham extinguished the fire using on wearing four sets of breathing apparatus while using one main line and two hose reel jets.
Firefighters extinguished the blaze at around 2.30pm.
The property occupier was treated by firefighters at the scene and taken into the care of the ambulance.
The South West Ambulance Service was called at 2.50pm and treated the man at the scene for minor injuries.
