Firefighters tackle large hedge blaze
Firefighters were called to a large hedge blaze near Sherborne this afternoon.
One fire engine from Sherborne went out to tackle the fire, which was on Street Lane in Longburton, at 2.13pm.
Another fire engine was later called upon to provide more water and more man power.
Twenty square metres of field and hedgerow on fire were extinguished by the crews using two hoses and a digger.
