GOOD to see that your correspondent Mr Moreton believes exiting the EU is “really very simple”, being something which will come as a complete surprise to those trying to sort out the disastrous vote on both sides of the channel.

I also wonder why, being a Leaver, he continues to bang on about the rightness of his vote.

Could it be that, knowing the simple In/Out vote, following a plethora of distorted truths which fuelled the fears of the Little Englander NIMBYs corrupting it beyond reason, may yet be repeated once the final exit deal has been hammered out?

That last point is the one put forward by the “thrashed” (Mr Moreton’s word) Liberal Democrats, who in fact increased the number of their MPs.

The crystal clear reasoning being that the 23rd June 2016 vote included absolutely no details of what the Leave vote would do to our people and country so a Yes/ No vote on the final deal is screamingly reasonable and sensible.

Could it be that Mr. Moreton and his ilk are now not so sure about what they wished/voted for and think bluff and bluster will serve to justify their calamitous error to future generations?
