Emergency services were called in the early hours of this morning to assist in the search for a vulnerable man.
Wyke Coastguard was page at 12.21am to assist Dorset Police in searching for the man.
The team arrived at the Smugglers Inn car park in Osmington Mills and were briefed by officers already on the scene.
A search of the immediate area was undertaken with Wyke concentrating efforts on the foreshore and coast paths to the east and west of the car park.
The NPAS helicopter from Exeter joined the search and was able to cover a large area.
Teams completed their searches around 3pm and with no further information forthcoming were stood down.
