It's been a busy week in Dorset. From finding out what's really in your kebab to someone posting a trout through a letterbox (yes, really!), here's what's been making the headlines:
1. West Dorset District Council has unveiled its new vision for the controversial Charles Street redevelopment in Dorchester. It includes plans to build on Fairfield car park.
2. A total of six people have been arrested after a group broke into a house and made threats with a knife. Five people were arrested shortly after the incident, with a further arrest later in the week.
3. There's been a rethink over plans to scrap free deckchairs for older people in Weymouth. Councillors will be urged to keep the policy when they discuss it at a meeting next week.
4. A prankster posted a trout with a cigarette in its mouth through a shop letterbox. He later apologised and paid for the cost of cleaning.
5. Beachgoers worked together to save a dolphin that became stranded in the shallow water of Weymouth Bay. It was coaxed back out to sea, and the rescue was caught on video.
6. Traders have spoken out about the impact on their business after the highways team spent 17 weeks on roadworks - only to have to dig up the pavement. Dorset County Council apologised and said they had to re-do the pavement because it could be a trip hazard.
7. Do you know what's really in your kebab? Trading standards reported that many lamb kebabs they tested actually have beef in them.
