A WOMAN on a building in Weymouth town centre who sparked a 'concern for welfare' call was later taken to hospital.
Police and paramedics were called to the multi-storey car park in Commercial Road following concerns.
Roads in the area were closed while emergency services were at the scene.
The incident was concluded 25 minutes after police were called to the scene.
A Dorset Police spokesman said: "We were called at 6.57pm on Wednesday, August 9 to reports of a concern for welfare of a woman at the multi-storey car park in Commercial Road in Weymouth.
"Officers attended and road closures were put in place in surrounding roads to allow officers to deal with the incident.
"The woman was brought to safety at 7.23pm and she was taken to hospital to receive the appropriate care.
"Road closures were lifted at 7.28pm."
