Commuters faced further rail delays after an early morning signal failure.
South West Trains services experienced disruption due to a fault with a set of points between Poole and Weymouth which occurred early this morning.
Some trains needed to stop at one signal and wait for verbal permission before continuing, causing disruption.
Services running to and from these stations were delayed by up to 15 minutes or revised.
Disruption was expected until 9am when service returned to normal.
