A 75-YEAR-OLD man is due to appear in court in connection with a fatal crash near Wimborne.
The collision occurred around 10.30am on Sunday, March 12 at Badbury Rings on the B3082 at the junction leading to Sturminster Marshall.
A silver Toyota Corolla, travelling from Wimborne to Blandford, collided with a blue Ford Focus, which was travelling in the opposite direction.
An 84-year-old woman from the Trowbridge area, who was a passenger in the Toyota, was airlifted to Southampton General Hospital following the collision but sadly died from her injuries on Tuesday, April 11.
A 75-year-old Blandford man has been charged with causing death by careless driving and is due to appear at Poole Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, August 29.
