Harry 'Gus' Spink in the early 1940s sent in by John HarperCopyright unknown
JOHN Harper of Kendal is looking for relatives of Harry Spink. His uncle Harry ‘Gus’ Spink had two younger brothers, Les and Wilfrid and a sister, Kathleen, his mother. The family grew up in Chorlton and Burnage in Manchester in the 1920s and 30s.
Harry moved to Dorset in the 1940s and married Barbara Mannings from Bath. They had two daughters, Christine and Carol and continued to live in Dorset. Harry died in Dorchester in 2009, aged 92.
