Are you ready for three days of outdoor music and fun?

This bank holiday weekend will see the return of three popular events.

The Anonymous Festival will be held on Saturday from noon until 6pm at Maumbury Rings.

Families are being encouraged to come to the free event and spend the day trying the scramble wall, seeing how far they get on the inflatable bungee run, making a giant pom-pom, taking part in a crafty workshop, learning to rap, or balancing on the rodeo bull.

There will also be two stages showcasing some of the best young musicians in the South West.

Performers this year include Kennedy, Last One Home, Pop Club, Decimal 5, the Snot Rockets L/A and Galaxy Thief.

All of the performers are aged under 25 years old as the festival centres around supporting new up and coming talent from the area.

And whilst spaces on the main stage are already filled, there is still a last minute opportunity for any aspiring musicians or other performers to share their talent in the open mic tent.

Emma Scott from Dorchester Town Council said: "I really enjoy Anonymous because there is so much to do from being really active to chilling out to fabulous music.

"And I am happy to be able to offer the event for free due to the hard work of the volunteers who fundraise to put it on. This means that young people and families still have something great to do at the end of the summer when they may be running out of ideas for how to spend their day."

Sunday will see Maumbury Rings light up with the Love Parade from 12pm until 8pm.

This year will feature performances from Lionstar, Sheila Tackya as Cher, Neil Ross, Benny Mayhem, and many more.

There will also be face painting and food and craft stalls.

And if you're not ready to finish there, there will be an after part in Cafe Jagos with DJ Matty B.

The music doesn't stop there as there will be a Live Music Day on Bank Holiday Monday.

This well-loved event is hosted by Dorchester Town Council and kicks off at 1.30pm.

Headline act the A Listers will be performing alongside Blackwater County, Hardy and the Monuments, Outlander, Set Adrift and Diniwe and the Hadedas.
