A window cleaner caused a gas leak after falling and landing on a gas pipe.
The incident occurred this afternoon on Main Road near Lulworth Cove Inn in West Lulworth.
Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service were called at 12.30pm to help isolate the gas supply to the property involved.
A spokesman said: “One crew from Wareham was mobilised to a report of a window cleaner who had fallen from height and landed on a gas pipe in Main Road, West Lulworth.”
The National Gas Emergency Service were then called to help to fix the gas leak.
A spokesman said: “The area doesn’t actually have natural gas, however we attended in our capacity as the National Gas Emergency Service for the South East of England. Our engineer made the situation safe by turning off the gas supply to the property.”
South Western Ambulance Service also attended the scene and took one patient to Dorset County Hospital with a wrist injury.
