Four people have been injured following a two-vehicle crash.
The incident happened on the A354 Weymouth Relief Road between the A353 Jurassic Roundabout and the A35 Weymouth Road.
A spokesman for South Western Ambulance Service said: "We received a call at 1.30pm to a report of a two-vehicle crash on the A354 at the ridgeway hill. There was a report of four patients."
One of the patients was taken to Dorset County Hospital following the incident. It is not yet known whether they suffered serious injuries.
Dorset Police attended the scene and the road was blocked both ways following the incident.
The vehicles involved in the crash were a red Ford Mondeo and a silver Ford Fiesta.
The road has now reopened.
