Police investigate suspected arson after barn "almost completely destroyed"
Police are investigating a case of suspected arson.
Officers were called to reports of a barn fire at around 12pm on Saturday in Pimperne, near Blandford.
The fire reportedly "almost completely destroyed" the barn.
Police say that following further investigation, it is thought to be malicious.
Fire crews from Blandford and Shaftesbury were called to the scene, and local residents were advised to close their windows and doors as a matter of precaution.
