A man has been charged with drug offences after officers searched a Dorchester address.
Officers from the Neighbourhood Policing Team carried out a joint agency visit with Magna Housing to an address in Castle Close, Dorchester.
Three men were detained by officers at the address and searched under The Misuse of Drugs Act 1971.
As a result, one man was arrested in relation to drugs offences and has since been charged with possession of controlled drugs with intent to supply.
A large amount of cash and controlled drugs were recovered and seized as part of the investigation.
A statement from Dorset Police said: "Work will now continue with the housing association to take appropriate action to prevent these offences from being repeated within the locality.
"Please support our PSCOs when they conduct their 'street corner' meetings in the area and report your concerns to them."
