PRINCE Charles will visit his Poundbury estate next week to offically open the new Damers First School.
The royal visitor will meet staff, students and parents, and learn about the school's sustainability programmes.
Damers First School moved to its new purpose-built site in Poundbury in April this year.
During his visit next Monday, The Prince of Wales will also drop in to the offices of hi-tech firm Loop Technology to meet staff and learn about how the company uses augmented reality and 3D scanning to programme robotics for the international market.
The visit will be rounded off with a visit to the retirement community complex named after his gradmother, Bowes Lyon Court.
