Flood alert issued for West Dorset
A FLOOD alert has been issued for West Dorset.
Areas which will be affected include West Bay, Lyme Regis and Chiswell.
The flood alert will remain in force for two hours after high tide.
The alert is forecast for around 8.15pm this evening.
The forecast wind direction is South South West and the forecast wind strength is Force 8.
Large waves and strong winds are expected and will likely cause some spray along coastal paths.
