Tickets for the 30th Dorchester Beer Festival, Dorchester Beerex 2018, are on sale now, and just in time for Christmas.

This popular event, organised by the West Dorset Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) with Dorchester Round Table, is sponsored this year by Palmers Brewery of Bridport.

Beerex chairman Lee Turner said: "Over the years the festival has got so popular that we have had to put tickets on sell earlier and increase seating capacity to cope with the demand.

"A ticket to Beerex is an ideal Christmas stocking filler and a great chance to sample beers from near and afar".

The festival takes place on Friday, February 2 and Saturday, February 3 in the Dorchester Corn Exchange.

Proceedings this year are split into in four separate sessions, between 11am-3.30pm and 6pm-10.30pm.

The charity benefitting from the event this year will be the Dorchester Social Stroke Club.

Tickets available at £10 each from Goldie's and the Bakers Arms pubs in Dorchester, The Brace of Butchers in Poundbury and The Boot pub in Weymouth, online from www.camrawdorset.org.uk or call 01305 788939.
