Woman taken to hospital after car crash on A35
A woman has been taken to hospital following a crash on the A35 at Winterbourne Abbas.
Emergency services were called to the collision, which took place near Longland’s Lane.
A spokesman for Dorset Police said: “We were called at 12.09pm to a report of a single-vehicle collision on the A35 at Winterbourne Abbas.
“Ambulance attended and one woman was taken to hospital as a precaution but she is not believed to have suffered serious injuries.
“Damage is believed to have been caused to a fence.”
The A35 was partially blocked both ways and traffic was moving slowly.
It has since been cleared.
