A massive thank you has to go out to the people of Portland for their generosity in donating to the Portland Foodbank yet again this year.
Not only have your regular contributions helped to keep foodbank afloat, but this Christmas the response has been overwhelming, so much so, that we have been able to make up special Christmas bags for the benefit of those in need.
A special mention must go to both the Portland Tesco and Easton Co operative Stores, who along with their amazing customers have given in such wonderful quantities – the giving nature of the islanders is truly heartwarming.
As well as many individual contributions, very generous donations have been received from Portland Logistics, local churches and the Foresters.
