A 27-year-old man is due to appear in court in connection with reported criminal damage in Dorchester.
Shortly before 5am on Saturday, July 29, police received a report of an alarm sounding at a premises in South Street.
A spokesman for Dorset Police said: "It was discovered that a number of shopfronts in the town centre had been damaged."
The spokesman added a 27-year-old man from Scarborough in Yorkshire was arrested and has now been issued with a postal requisition to appear at Weymouth Magistrates’ Court.
He is due to appear in court on Monday, January 22 for nine offences of criminal damage.
