A man arrested in connection with a reported assault and theft from a teenage busker has been released without charge.
At around 2.10pm on Saturday, December 9 2017, a man was busking in South Street, Dorchester, when it was reported that another man approached him, grabbed his arm and took a quantity of money before putting it in the collection tin belonging to another busker.
The reported victim – a local teenage man – was uninjured.
A 41-year-old man of no fixed abode was arrested in connection with the incident and has now been released without charge.
Officers are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.
