The line up for Camp Bestival 2018 has been announced, with musicians, entertainers and interactive experiences on the bill.

The festival will take place at Lulworth Castle from Thursday, July 26 until Sunday, July 29 with a variety of acts, from the music world, to entertainment.

Music for this years event will come in the shape of Simple Minds, Rick Astley and Clean Bandit.

There will also be entertainment for the children entertainers Mr Tumble, Dick and Dom, and Matthew Bourne.

Festival co-founder Rob da Bank said: “The deckhands and salty seadogs keep on coming with loads more interactive shenanigans for the kids and family added to this year’s line-up.

“Me and the team spend a lot of time seeking out the most enjoyable and enchanting shows and activities which we can bring them to Lulworth Castle, so that you can do something different with your family every day at Camp Bestival.

“Come and get stuck into the fun. We will be!”

This year will see the return of Mister Maker and the Shapes who made their debut at the festival last year.

The group will be stirring the imagination of children, through their creative demonstrations.

Campers are invited to learn to fly with Nautical Gorilla Circus Show & Flying Trapeze School, who will be performing at the festival.

The group are inviting campers to participate in their stunts, such as the trapeze.

These sessions will have to be pre-booked and the group will be performing throughout the weekend.

There will be a UK festival exclusive from ZSL London Zoo: Gruesome Nature Live! an interactive musical show, with original songs teaching facts about nature.

This show will not be available at any other festival.

CBeebies presenter Andy is back with his show Andy & the Odd Socks, providing singing, stories and audience participation.

Camp Bestival will also be hosting The Whale- The Pirates Misadventure experience, which is a 50 foot inflatable Sperm Whale, which will lie in the Magic Meadow.
