Emergency services were on the scene after a two-vehicle crash near Littlemoor, Weymouth. 

One lane of the A353, Littlemoor Road was closed after two vehicles crashed at Bincombe Bumps Roundabout. 

Police said they were called at 7.55am this morning to reports of a two-vehicle road traffic collision (RTC). 

A spokesman for Dorset police said: "The collision was between a brown Ford Fiesta registered to a man in Dorchester and a beige Vauxhall Vectra registered to a man in Cheshire.

"We have put in a partial road closure at Bincombe Bump Roundabout."

Ambulance and fire services were also called to attend. 

A spokesman from Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said they were called at 8am. 

"There were reports of a two vehicle RTC. When crews arrived one person was being assessed and then assisted from their vehicle by ambulance service colleagues.

"Crews made the vehicles safe and left the scene with the police," the spokesman said. 

Police described the incident as 'slight injury' but the extent or number of people injured is not yet known. 

One lane of the A353 was closed but has since been reopened.
