There have been numerous reports of flooding on roads around the county this morning.
There are reports of flooding in Dorchester at the A35 Football Ground Roundabout, A35 Monkey's Jump Roundabout and from Cerne Abbas to Nether Cerne.
It comes after a yellow weather warning for rain and wind was issued for north and west Dorset yesterday.
The Met Office warned of flooding overnight until around 10am this morning.
They told drivers to expect delays to road, rail and ferry transport, including for high-sided vehicles on exposed routes and bridges.
They added spray and some flooding on roads are also likely to increase journey times.
