Tomorrow is expected to see hundreds of jobseekers come together in the hunt for new opportunities.
Back by popular demand, the Dorset Echo Job Fair is taking place tomorrow at Weymouth College Cranford Avenue – and it's free.
Now in its eighth year, the fair is designed to bring together employers and job-seekers into a relaxed and informative networking hub and this year will see a host of businesses able to give top tips, advice and job opportunities.
Previous years have proved a massive success and the Job Fair is only going from strength to strength. Organisers are hoping to build on that success with a bigger and better event.
This year will see a host of different businesses attending including fashion retailer New Look who are currently is hiring in finance, IT, and HR.
Also confirmed for the job fair is Sunny Days Nurseries, Encompass, The Verne and Autism Wessex.
Jessica Ellwood, HR Assistant at Autism Wessex, said: “The fair is a great opportunity for us to speak to local people about the work that we do in the community and how they get involved. We are currently recruiting for Community Support Workers and can offer candidates a flexible working pattern, career progression, bespoke training programs and most of all a truly rewarding job.”
Julia Cohen, head of external partnerships at Weymouth College added: "We are pleased to be hosting the Dorset Echo Job Fair here at Weymouth College during National Apprenticeship Week.
"For all those looking to start work or change career direction the chance to talk informally to employers face-to-face and explore different job opportunities is a unique opportunity.”

It will take place tomorrow from 10am till 3pm.
There will be two free workshops that people can attend too.
At 10.30am there will be a workshop on CV writing and at 11.15am a workshop on interview skills.
There is a maximum space of 15 places on each workshop and they can be followed by a one-to-one meeting with the college's advice and guidance team.
