A powerhouse vocalist who has impressed judges through two stages of a TV talent show is just one step away from being thrust into the spotlight in the live shows.

Lauren Bannon-Hayes, from Weymouth, has made it through to the knockout stage of The Voice UK after battling off fierce competition in the blind auditions and battle rounds.

Lauren will sing for survival on tonight's show as she fights for her chance to be in the final 12.

In the knockout round, the four coaches will have seven team members - six winners of the battle phase and a stolen member. Each contestant will perform a song of their choice, and the judges will pick three members of their team to go through to the live shows, creating a final 12 for the public vote.

Lauren was snapped up by Olly Murs in the blind auditions when she impressed him with her rendition of Lean On by Major Lazer and DJ Snake. Ahead of the knockout rounds, Olly is joined by RnB star Craig David as a guest mentor.

Tune in to The Voice at 8.30pm tonight on ITV.
