Weymouth Scottish Country Dancers had a knees-up for the annual ball.
Members celebrated their 56th annual ball at Herrison Hall, Charlton Down, with 100 people in attendance from all over the region.
The music was provided by the Band Craigellachie, who travelled from London for the event amid fears of imminent snow.
The group said people came from the New Forest, Bournemouth, Cheltenham, West Camel in Somerset, Bridport, Charminster, Exeter and Weymouth dance groups for the popular yearly dance.
