Stunning photos of the sunset have been sent in by echo readers and by members of the Echo Camera Club.

William Lane emailed in a beautiful photo of the red skies at Kimmeridge last night. 

Christopher Dean decided to take the opportunity to head out in Dorchester and captured an amazing view of the sunset.

In his post on Echo Camera Club he said: "Maiden Castle in Dorchester is one of them locations that seems largely neglected by the local photographer fraternity.

"In fact I can include myself in that as despite living within walking distance I rarely visit.

"In fact it was only because of traffic I ended up there tonight but I am glad I did. Whilst the sun was still high when I arrived I noticed the sun creating amazing shadows and light on the outer ridges of the castle out came the tripod and this is the result. I hope you like it :)."
